This is my favorite album by Mexican death metal stalwarts The Chasm, by a wide margin. All the meandering, proggy excursions of previous releases have been brutally curtailed in favor of mountains on mountains of riffs, and the result is a release that is tighter and more focused than any of their output in the last decade+.
Consider my interest renewed. Patiently awaiting the next one. Ghuughra

never been a big death metal fan but this is actually super accessible for the genre, has fun concepts, and personally i'm always a fan of albums with short tracklists and huge runtimes (for individual songs) Great time, good jumping on point for newbies too. alienasu

Greek Epic / Pagan / Black Metal. These guys kick serious butt & there are some fantastic melodies here as well as some great riffs. All with that distinctive triumphant & exclusively Greek edge. There is a clear Rotting Christ influence but these guys are much more subtle in their onslaught! I would be happy to wage war with giants to the sound of this & I am just a weakling nobody... :) Highly recommended!!! bmurator

If you had told me four years ago that one of the greatest death metal albums I'd ever hear would be completely instrumental, I would have laughed in your face. Then I heard this.
Make no mistake, this is not for the faint of heart. Do not venture into this labyrinthine construction of extreme metal mastery unless you're already well-acquainted and comfortable with The Chasm's eclectic stylings. Only then will you truly appreciate this for the masterpiece it is. BegravementEzra
